Overview

The Personal Leadership and Success course is offered by MCB Institute of Finance in partnership with Emeritus, which has created this course in collaboration with the Tuck School of Business.

Experience what it’s like to be coached by Marshall Goldsmith. Marshall Goldsmith is the number one executive coach in the world. He has been named as the top 5 Management Thinker by Thinkers 50. As a result of having coached hundreds of CEO’s across world, Marshall has developed rich leadership insights, tools and methods.

This interactive course takes participants through key tools and methods that Marshall uses with top leaders. Participants will take these and will put them into action, through individual reflection exercises and workplace implementation exercises. Participants will appreciate the extent they can shape their lives, and then take steps towards such change.

In this course, participants undergo a self-coaching process. They are asked to reflect on themselves and their effectiveness, gather feedforward, and create a leadership goal that they will work on post once the course is completed.

Marshall Goldsmith ideas that are covered:

  • Mojo
  • SCC – Stakeholder Centered Coaching Approach
  • WGYHWGYT – What Got You Here Won’t Get You There

Globally connected classroom
at Emeritus

At our founding academic institutions, peer-to-peer learning and application are integral to a student’s learning experience. At EMERITUS we have replicated this approach in our “Globally Connected Classroom”. While the course frameworks are delivered using interactive video lectures, two-thirds of the learning time is devoted to application of these concepts by collaborative, student teams (which we call “Learning Circles”).
